We work for you. Harvey County is a local government devoted to our core values of courtesy, integrity, respect, understanding, well-being and humor. We provide dozens of services, and are committed to doing so while maintaining fiscal responsibility.

Several positions are filled by the decisions of Harvey County voters. They include our three-person commission, as well as the county attorney, clerk, sheriff, register of deeds and treasurer. With the guidance of the commission, several other departments are staffed to fulfill a myriad of roles for the community.

Government meetings are open to the public. The county commission meets weekly on Mondays (with occasional exceptions to accommodate holidays) at the Harvey County Courthouse. The weekly agenda and previous meeting minutes can be found on our website.
