The lake at East Park is under a harmful algal bloom warning. Swim beach areas are closed, and motorized boating is not allowed. Canoeing, kayaking and fishing are allowed, but precautions are recommended. For more information on harmful algal blooms, visit the Kansas Department of Health and Environment's website. Harvey County Parks is comprised of three parks - Camp Hawk, East Park and West Park - each offering unique amenities for citizens and visitors alike. The Parks Department is committed to preserving natural resources through land stewardship, education and recreational opportunities.
