The U.S. Small Business Administration has made available low-interest disaster assistance loans for Harvey County businesses and residents that sustained damage from severe weather on May 19.
The loans are available to businesses, homeowners and renters whose property was damaged or destroyed in the storms.

The property damage application deadline is Dec. 3, 2024. The economic injury application deadline is July 7, 2025.
Previously, the SBA announced on Aug. 21 that disaster loans were available for private nonprofit organizations. The deadline to apply for property damages is Oct. 21, 2024, and the deadline for economic injuries is May 20, 2025.
Applications for all of these programs can be submitted at www.sba.gov/disaster.
