A tax foreclosure sale has been set for Dec. 12, 2024 at 10 a.m. in the community room of the Harvey County Courthouse.
The tax foreclosure process begins after a property owner(s) fails to pay their tax liabilities.
As of Nov. 6, the sale includes seven* properties. A map of properties included in the sale is available here. The number of properties available in the foreclosure sale can decrease in the time leading up to the sale date, as the current owner(s) of the property can redeem the property up to one day before the sale.
*Since the original publication of this article, causes 17 and 18 have been redeemed and will not be included in the foreclosure sale.
Interested bidders must register to bid before the start of the sale. Registration will begin Dec. 12 at 9:30 a.m. The sale is made to the highest in-person bidder for cash in hand. Bidders on properties cannot have outstanding taxes due on their currently-owned properties.
The foreclosure sale is conducted by the Harvey County sheriff. Click here to view the notice of sheriff sale.
