Harvey County's Title VI Plan was adopted by the Harvey County Commission on May 25, 2021. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 ensures recipients of federal financial assistance are not excluded from participation in, denied benefits of, or are subjected to discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, disability, income or English proficiency.

Harvey County's Title VI Plan includes a language assistance program available to benefit non-English speakers, as well as outlines complaint procedures for impacted individuals.

Language assistance services can be made available for county government public meetings upon request with a minimum of 48 hours advance notification.
