Harvey County residents have access to Everbridge, a notification system that can provide critical, potentially life-saving communications in an emergency or disaster.
Each user can choose the types of notifications they wish to receive, and how those notifications are delivered to them.
The Everbridge platform can produce resident alerts for a wide range of public safety incidents, whether natural or man-made. For example, residents could receive a notification for severe weather, a wildfire, or flooding. Additionally, residents can choose to receive updates from participating municipalities for non-emergent issues, such as road closures or utility maintenance in your city.
Everbridge alerts are available through cell phone, text message, home phone, email and several other forms of communication.
There is no cost to the user to sign up or maintain an Everbridge account.
You can learn more about the products and services offered by Everbridge on the company's website.
